I am going to be giving a talk on the progress we have made on our co-creation community focused on improving the quality of life as we age on Sept 25th in San Francisco. Here are some details. It’s open to the public so come along if you are interested.
Dr. Caro will discuss an experimental “co-creation community” called the Longevity Collective.
Designed to leverage the insights, years of accumulated wisdom, and enthusiasm of older adults, this community aims to accelerate the emergence of technology-enabled products and services that can improve the quality of life of all of us as we age.
Whether it’s hearing, vision, mobility, or mental sharpness, a gradual decline in ability to function at our peak comes to us all. But what if technology could be developed that would put off the day when such decline starts to impact our daily life? Dr. Caro argues that with the help of a community such as the Longevity Collective, this vision seems both realistic and imminent.
The Longevity Collective is presently being piloted with select groups of individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area. Come and learn about this new movement, and contribute your ideas and feedback to help shape it.
